Thank you for stopping here and getting to know more about me, I’m Carolina and I am a portrait & wedding photographer based in southern NJ. When I’m not photographing beautiful portraits or romantic weddings, I can easily be crying in a corner while I’m watching a romantic movie, or I can be dancing or singing at the top of my lungs with my two sweet daughters. I am a huge coffee lover, but I also find tea very enjoyable, so I can happily play on both teams. I'm a home décor enthusiast; designing and decorating every corner of my new home and continuously creating tons of interior design mood boards on Pinterest are my most favorite hobbies.
From a hopeless romantic to another, there is nothing that inspires me more than exquisite and beautiful details, golden sunsets, the ocean view, but most importantly, your unique and sincere story that I will be honorably capturing in the most authentic and sentimental way. I love knowing that my couples and I share a love for creativity, strong connections, and the art of allowing moments to unfold organically. Your photographs should be an expression of your true self. You deserve to be present in the moment, and I’m exceptionally devoted to being by your side; celebrating with you and gently guiding you, so that you feel effortlessly beautiful in every moment of your day.
With a concentration in international studies and many photography courses, these have been the perfect blend of immersing myself into different cultures and applying them in artfully refined photographs and culturally enriched experiences. I play many roles in my life: a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and artist. Whichever role I’m conveying, I bring forth all my traditions that have been embedded in Dominican Republic. Inspired by my mother, who spent my entire childhood with a camera in hand as her way of keeping each one of my milestones, memories, and most cherished moments alive, I developed a commitment to capturing the essence of everyday life. Luckily for me, I was able to turn my mom’s hobby into a passion of mine and find the most valuable legacy I can leave behind for my daughters.

My maternal grandmother, who was my family’s greatest pillar, passed away when I was 3 years old, the photographs I have left of her are one of the treasures that I cherish the most and carry with me always. Despite having lost her at a very young age, surprisingly, I still have a few standout memories of my sweet grandma Africa.
